Our chamber orchestra performs music from the 1700s; Wheat’s expertise in social media, web site design, and digital sound editing has placed us squarely in the 21st century! As a volunteer, Wheat Williams has designed and built the ABO’s new web site, written content, and edited audio as well as visual imagery. He cut our costs through streamlining our Web hosting strategy and email administration. Wheat established ABO’s presence on Facebook and other social networking sites, creating new markets and opportunities for blogging, selling advance tickets online, receiving PayPal donations, building new audiences, and much more. As our publicist and marketing volunteer, Wheat writes excellent press releases and manages the writing and distribution of regular professional email newsletters to our fans. AND, to top it off, Wheat led the successful compilation and submission of our first grant application in several years, kicking off our 2011-2012 fundraising campaign.
